The homes

Five homes, five kinds of trip

Each home is hosted with a particular trip in mind. One is the milestone family gathering, one the easy poolside weekend, one the couple's escape, one the quiet desert reset, and one the gather-house that holds the whole group. Find the one that fits yours.

By where you want to be

Scottsdale, Phoenix & Paradise Valley

Area

Scottsdale

Scottsdale is the center of gravity for a Camelback stay: four and five bedroom homes with private pools, sleeping 16 and up, a short drive from Old Town, the golf, and the dining along Scottsdale Road. The homes suit large families, golf groups, spring-training visitors, and design-conscious couples who want a home of their own rather than a hotel floor.

Area

Phoenix

Phoenix puts you close to everything a longer stay needs: a true private pool, spring-training ballparks in every direction, Sky Harbor, and Old Town Scottsdale a short drive away. Our Phoenix homes sit in the Arcadia corridor near Camelback Mountain, design-led and built for baseball trips, golf groups, and snowbird winters rather than the budget west-valley listings that fill the search results.

Area

Near Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley is the quiet end of the valley: generous lots, mountains on the skyline, and the stillness the area is known for. We host near it, in the calm Scottsdale neighborhoods that border the Paradise Valley line, for slow travelers, design-conscious couples, and families who want that same reset within a short drive of Old Town. Querencia, our flagship, sits closest to that quiet corner, with a heated pool, a spa, a putting green, and room for the whole group.

Neighborhood

Old Town Scottsdale

Old Town Scottsdale is the walkable core: restaurants, galleries, bars, brunch, and Fashion Square packed into a few blocks. Our homes sit a short drive away, a quick rideshare to dinner and a night out, far enough that the morning after stays quiet by your own pool. It suits couples, golf groups, and design-forward girls' getaways who want both halves of the trip.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Are Camelback Stays homes vacation rentals?

In the way a guest means it, yes. You book one of five private homes for your dates, just as you would any Scottsdale or Phoenix vacation rental. What is different is who is behind it. We host these homes ourselves as a small, design-led collection built for families, golf groups, and longer stays, rather than running an anonymous wall of listings, and you book direct with no guest service fee.

What is the best area to stay in Scottsdale for a vacation home?

It depends on the trip. North Scottsdale suits golf groups and big families with its proximity to TPC Scottsdale, Grayhawk, and Troon North. Central and south Scottsdale put you closer to Old Town for walkable dinners and nightlife. Phoenix and the Arcadia corridor are central to the spring-training ballparks and the airport. Our homes are placed with that logic in mind, so you choose by trip type rather than guessing.

Are luxury vacation homes cheaper than a resort for a group?

For a group of six or more, usually yes. One four or five bedroom home with a private pool and a kitchen, split across the group, tends to land below a block of resort rooms once you add resort fees, parking, and meals out, and it keeps everyone in one place on one schedule. Booking direct also removes the guest service fee an OTA would add.

Do these Scottsdale and Phoenix homes come with private heated pools?

Every home in the collection has a private pool, and most pair it with a spa. Several are heated. We state the heating plainly per home rather than burying it in fine print, because in the desert the pool is the trip. Confirm the heating detail for a specific home on its booking page before you reserve.

Is it better to stay in Scottsdale, Phoenix, or Paradise Valley?

Scottsdale is the lively middle, close to Old Town and the golf. Phoenix and the Arcadia corridor are the central, practical base for spring training and the airport. The Paradise Valley side is the quiet end, built for a slower desert reset with Old Town still about ten minutes away. We host homes across all three so you can match the area to the trip.

How far in advance should I book a Scottsdale home for spring?

For the February and March peak, which covers spring training and the high golf season, the best homes book months ahead. If your dates are set, reserving early is the way to lock the home and the rate. Booking direct gives you live availability and the best-rate booking without an OTA guest service fee.
